Why we need your help to do: What we can achieve with your support?

The Amethyst Foundation needs your support for our research and resources to help assist our family projects, through volunteer staff provided care and  support to families.
We hope to reach families  UK wide and count on your financial aid to achieve this.


The Amethyst Foundation is a registered charity (registered no. 1160625).

Founded in 1999 as The light house Project providing prayer and counselling support to the local community, TAF is now established and has merged services to provide an umbrella support to projects serving the health and wellbeing needs of children and their families. We provide the funds ,resources and research to the following projects : The Allergy Tree(children with allergies and hypersensitivities), Anchor(Families raising more than one child on a low income), Parent Friends ( children with speech and language needs)



The Trustee Board has overall responsibility for The Amethyst Foundation's day to day controls , The team is made up of the Director, supported by the Senior Management Team. 

Staff and Volunteers

The Amethyst Foundation has a small staff team; that consist of mainly Volunteers, who make up a vital contribution to the charities services.





  • A team of researchers, writers, trainers and publicist to produce educational material, parent workshops in numerous localities throughout London. 


  • Recruiting parent volunteers to be involved in support  groups and befriending, fundraising events and awareness.


  • Heavily discounted family day trips and respite care


  • Trained and professional staff to deliver family resources, materials, information , support and guidance to our service users, via befriending, home-visiting, training, consultancy, mentoring  and counselling .


  • Helping parents to be empowered through self–awareness, helping parents to be well informed to make informed choices and decisions for themselves and their families. Helping parents to cope with day to day family cares and concerns through befriending.


  • Working with parents and families and supporting their change to work towards happiness, good health and strength.
